We are seeking a Truck Driver / Machine Operator to join our team!
As a Truck Driver / Machine Operator you will be responsible for safely operating our truck, which is outfitted with a heavy rolling drum on a boom that you operate to SMASH the contents of open-top waste containers (dumpsters). This requires your ability to both safely drive the truck and also to safely operate the smashing equipment at each customer’s site.

We require a 1-2 day paid training period prior to employment as well as a background check and pre-employment drug testing.
This position does not require regular overnight travel and you should be home every night except maybe for training.
Commissions and bonuses are available for referral activities and contributions that result in closed business. However, the primary job is operating the truck, i.e., be a Truck Driver / Machine Operator..
Responsibilities:
- Inspect truck daily before and after trip while properly tracking and documenting the inspection results using a provided smartphone checklist.
- Treat customers in a courteous and professional manner. This key employee is the face of the company to customers daily.
- Safely drive a 25,000-pound Kenworth truck.
- Skillfully operate a hydraulic boom with a rolling drum (training provided).
- Properly track and document all activity via smartphone apps (provided).
- Report all issues and incidents to dispatch.
- Contribute to the maintenance and cleaning of the truck and machine.
- Demonstrate reliability and accountability for daily work.
- Represent the company and the benefits of the services we offer to interested parties and provide Sales the information required to follow up on such leads.
Qualifications:
- Strong work ethic with proven job history of reliability and accountability.
- Previous experience as a Truck Driver or related fields. Must be experienced and skillfully able to drive a Kenworth T270 straight truck weighing around 25,000 pounds.
- Ability to serve as a Machine Operator to use large hydraulic equipment safely and successfully.
- Preferred: 3 or more years of applicable experience, for example: Truck Driver, Straight Truck, Equipment Operator, Machine Operator, or Route Driver.
- Valid motor vehicle operator’s license, proof of citizenship, and a clean MVR.
- Class B CDL and Military, Industrial, Commercial, Construction or Agricultural experience with truck driving or large equipment operation.
- Ability to perform routine maintenance and truck care activities.
- Diesel mechanic experience a plus.
- Hydraulic mechanic or hydraulic systems background a plus.
- Ability to handle physical workload and climbing up and down a 4 ft tall truck ladder 20 to 30 times per day.
- Skilled with a smartphone and able to use our apps to track routes, document work, complete activities and communicate.
