Job description
The Youth Sports Coordinator is responsible for supervising and monitoring sports programming. This position also plans and delivers effective classes and activities in youth sports for YMCA members and program participants.
Qualifications
- High school diploma required, Associates Degree in related field preferred (Recreation, Sports Management).
- Minimum of one year's experience in programming/program growth.
- Minimum of one year experience in staff supervision.
- Program expertise to instruct the class when assigned.
- Have a general knowledge of skills required to teach activities such as basketball, football, soccer, baseball etc.
