Ponzi Vineyards, LLC one of Oregon’s founding wineries, located just 30 Minutes from Portland, is seeking a Staff Accountant.
Applicants work week will be Monday through Friday 9:00AM ~ 5:00PM. Hours may vary depending on workload.
This individual is responsible for a variety of general accounting support task; Maintaining accounting databases by entering data into the computer, protecting organization's value by keeping information confidential, verifying the accuracy of invoices and other accounting documents or records, update and maintain accounting journals, ledgers and other records detailing financial business transactions (receipts, accounts payable), entering data into computer system using Quick Books Online, compiling data and preparing a variety of reports and identifying questionable data.
Qualifications:

• Competency in Microsoft applications including Word, Excel and Outlook and preference to Quick Books Online. Organizational, verbal and written communication skills a must.
• Calculate, prepare and process bills, invoices, account statements, and other financial reports
• Code, total, batch, enter, verify and reconcile transactions like accounts payable and receivable
• Perform related clerical duties like word processing, filing, and faxing, photocopying and answering phones.
• Math skills and familiarity with basic accounting principles
• Flexibility and willingness to perform a variety of support tasks
