Job description
The Athletics Student Worker will assist in various areas of the Department of Intercollegiate Athletics including athletic communications, athletic marketing and promotions, gameday operations, and intramurals.
Essential Functions: Gameday operations including set-up and clean-up, ticket sales, concessions sales, social media, ball retriever, scoreboard, official scorebook, statistics caller/spotter, PA announcer, music, live-stream video, line judges, and libero tracking. Athletic communication including writing press releases, updating website, running social media channels, in-charge of intramural events, fan engagement, and greeting opposing teams. Other duties as assigned by the supervisors.

Requirements:Skills: Dependable, ability to prioritize and organize, multi-task, creative thinker, outgoing, reliable, punctual, willingness and ability to take charge. Works well with others in individual and group setting. Previous knowledge, training, or experience is preferred but not required.
Abilities: Some lifting of objects up to 50lbs, as well as, bending and reaching may be required in some positions. Exposure to sun and heat for long periods of time in some positions. Ability to balance many tasks and responsibilities simultaneously.
