Gourmet food store (STICKY SITUATIONS) in search of a highly motivated team member to join our family as a TASTING ROOM ASSOCIATE in our Lahaska, PA (PEDDLER'S VILLAGE) location. Our business is centered on providing our customers with unparalleled service and access to the foods that we make through a highly interactive sampling and tasting room that consists of products that range from honey, honey butter, honey mustard, maple syrup, pasta, sauce, oil, and vinegar. Applicants should have a strong passion for cooking, education, and locally made food products. Applicants should posses a working knowledge of touch-screen technology, interactive POS systems, and be comfortable with cash drawer management. Applicants should have a strong desire to sell through a highly interactive and educationally-based, sales environment. Applicants should be advised that this position will require the ability to work between the hours of 10am - 6pm with weekend availability strongly preferred. Preference will be granted to applicants with demonstrated work experience and highly credible references in the areas of retail sales, food sales and distribution, business development and/or hospitality management. Pay: $19.00 - $21.00 per hour
