Position Summary
This role will be responsible for supporting advanced analytics initiatives for Nestle USA’s commercial-focused business (marketing, sales, pricing, etc.). The immediate focus of the Technical Program Manager will be to support high profile analytics initiatives currently in flight at NUSA, helping to connect business problems / opportunities to advanced analytics solutions that drive real value for the commercial business. This role will be a key connector of business stakeholders (commercial leaders, end users) and advanced analytics delivery practitioners (data scientists, engineers, digital leadership, IT, etc).

Responsibilities:
  • Support agile delivery of advanced analytics opportunities in commercial business:
    • Work with business stakeholders and technical delivery teams to determine program delivery timelines, milestones, and stewardship plans.
    • Work with data engineers and data scientists to design and manage delivery of technical requirements for advanced analytics solutions.
    • Assist execution of user acceptance testing, documenting processes, requirements, and enabling execution.
    • Build business cases and results measurement programs and prepare briefings for senior leadership on program status.
    • Steward program governance mechanisms, communications, and change management / adoption work tracks.
    • Manage vendor resources engaged in delivery activities.
  • Partner with commercial digital leadership to determine prioritization of advanced analytics projects in commercial program portfolio.
  • Own documentation development and delivery (detailed requirements, project deliverables, solution support) and ensure consistent quality across portfolio.
  • Assist in commercial business advanced analytics strategy development and socialization.
A few potential analytics areas you will be involved in are listed below:
  • Recommendation Engines (e.g. Sales Recommendation Engine, Predictive Out of Stock).
  • Predictive Scenario Planning (e.g. Future business performance, drivers and scenarios).
  • Prescriptive Optimization (e.g. Trade Promotion Optimization, Commercial Spends Optimization, Network Optimization).
  • Integrated Forecasting (e.g. Financial forecasting, Demand Forecasting).
  • Intelligent Automation.

Your Team – Who You’ll Work With
  • Work with Sr. Director Commercial Analytics to manage the delivery of innovative, cross-functional solutions which comprehensively address the asks of the business.
  • Collaborate with Analytics, Data, and IT teams within the NUSA Digital & eComm Team, and business functions across our portfolio of analytics projects.

Requirements:
  • Undergraduate Degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Business, or a similar field.
  • Experience managing delivery of multiple, concurrent large scale (involving 10+ delivery FTEs) IT or analytics projects.
  • Foundational knowledge of analytics techniques (descriptive/diagnostic to predictive/prescriptive).
  • Basic understanding of advanced analytics model development, training, and testing preferred; experience managing development and deployment of advanced analytics solutions a plus.
  • Working experience in commercial functions within consumer products preferred.
  • Prior experience in business analyst and/or project management role(s) preferred.
  • Experience working with agile teams to rapidly deploy analytics solutions preferred.

Skills & Competencies:
  • Ability to analyze technical delivery projects, create long and short term delivery timelines and execution plans, and convey those plans to non-technical stakeholders.
  • Strong knowledge of governance processes, stakeholder management, project management / agile delivery; experience with scrum and Azure DevOps a plus.
  • Good facilitation and presentation skills, including training delivery.
  • Excellent oral and written communication skills, organizational and time-management abilities.
  • High initiative, self-starter, and able to work with limited supervision.
