Responsibilities:
The Unit Clerk oversees the clerical functions of the nursing unit necessary to provide patient care.


Job Duties and Responsbilities:
  • Provides clerical duties necessary to support nursing care on assigned unit.
  • Monitors unite milieu and maintains a safe therapeutic environment for patients.
  • Responds to patients in crisis and acts accordingly

Located in Shippensburg, PA., our 112-bed behavioral health facility offers acute psychiatric, detoxification, and rehabilitation services for adults as well as, an adolescent inpatient psychiatric program for youth ages 13-17. We also have two substance use disorder outpatient offices in Carlisle and Chambersburg. Qualifications:
Unit Clerk Requirements:
  • High school diploma or equivalent required.
  • One (1) year experience working with a psychiatric patient population and previous secretarial experience preferred.
