Job description
Your Role:


  • Write testable, readable, maintainable, and efficient code
  • Consult with developers on software and system design in order to facilitate test automation
  • Work with domain experts and developers to develop and execute test plans
  • Contribute to the development of our CMS platform
  • Design user-centric websites based off of User Experience studies
  • Design and develop automated unit, functional, regression and performance test programs or scripts based on libraries of re-usable test code modules or functions.
  • Define and document test cases based off of user stories.
  • Understand event driven, API and other pertinent software architectures and implement industry standards test strategies.
  • Collaborate with developer scrum team members on best practices, code reviews, internal tools and process improvements
  • Keep abreast of the latest technologies and techniques within the web development and design fields by working with team members, mentors and by prototyping solutions


Technologies We Use:


  • React, Redux to Development languages/frameworks: JavaScript, JavaScript Frameworks (jQuery, React, etc.), Grails, MongoDB, HTML5 (Bootstrap), CSS3 (CSS/Sass), XML, Templating (Velocity Template Language)
  • Amazon : AWS SDK, Elastic Beanstalk, S3, and AWS cloud-native architectures
  • DevOps Tools : New Relic, SumoLogic, Jenkins, PagerDuty, Terraform, GitHub, MySQL, Solr
  • Testing Tools : Browser Stack, React Testing Library, Cypress, Cucumber


Qualifications Required:


  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or related field or equivalent combination of industry-related professional experience and education is required
  • 2-3 years of experience in designing and implementing web development solutions is required
