WOUND CARE NURSE (RN / LPN) – Part-Time – Generations at Oakton Pavillion, Des Plaines, IL
Generations at Oakton Pavillion in Des Plaines, IL, has an immediate opening for a Full Time Wound Care Nurse.
Up to $40 per hour. Flexible Schedule, Wednesday, Saturday, Sunday. Candidate must be either LPN or RN.

Responsibilities of the Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN):
- Skin evaluation for pressure sore prevention
- Medication application to existing wounds
- Educate patients to care for their own wounds
- Care for patient's surgical incisions, any pressure sores or any wounds caused from disease or injury

Requirements:of the Wound Care Nurse (RN/LPN):
- Current RN or LPN license from the State of Illinois
- Wound Care Certification (WCC) Required
- Wound Care experience is a plus but not required
- Personable and professional with residents, families, and staff
- Maintain confidentiality of all residents’ information in compliance with HIPAA standards
- Must have compassion, understanding and tolerance for older adults
