Founded in 1954, Berkshire County Arc (BCArc) is a human services organization. BCArc offers abroad range of community-based services to individuals with developmental disabilities, brain injuries and autism throughout Berkshire and Hampden Counties in Massachusetts.
BCArc serves more than 1,000 individuals annually.
The Nursing Supervisor will be responsible for the overall management of health services of individuals with Developmental Disabilities and Brain Injuries who live, work and/or attend day programs in the Hampden County Area. The Supervisor will oversee the supervision of RN/LPN nurses in assessment, planning and monitoring of individual health needs.
In collaboration with the Nursing Supervisor – Berkshire County, participate in the formulation of health care policy and procedure, and interpret policy for staff. Both Nursing Supervisors will coordinate the Nursing-On-Call System. Collaboration oversight of the Medication Administration Program is part of this position. Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.

Additional Responsibilities:
- Maintain a caseload appropriate with other responsibilities.
- Perform health care assessments, develop written health care plans, and attend ISP meetings for all assigned
- Assist with the coordination of the Nursing-On-Call System.
- Collaboration oversight of the Medication Administration Program is part of this position.
- Ensure compliance with all regulatory requirements.
- Participate in intake meetings and annual
- Supervision of individual RNs and LPNs in Pioneer Valley
- Conduct Hepatitis B vaccine in-service for all staff and re-in-service
- Review all documented consumer medical incidents and follow up as
- Participate in Incident Review Committee or delegate designee.

- Registered Nurse certification. Associates degree in Nursing.
- Experience working in the field of developmental disabilities and brain injury preferred.
- Valid driver’s license and insured vehicle.
