Job description

Under general supervision, provides direct nursing care to patients utilizing the nursing process, performs technical nursing functions upholds the standard of practice of a professional nurse in caring for patients for the following areas:

Infusion center, surgery, med-surg, emergency department, employee, and community health.

1. Graduation from an accredited school of nursing. current AZ license in good standing.

2. 2-year minimum RN experience in acute, infusion center, surgery or emergency is a plus.

3. Credentials in BLS, ACLS and PALS.

4. Comprehensive knowledge and understanding of: Age-specific care of patients, understand of family dynamics and appropriate interaction IV therapy, clinical competencies in abnormal lab or test values, medications, and interactions.

5. Behaviors are that of collegiality, respect and service as a “guest” with emphasis on how to be most helpful to the assigned department.'
