This company is currently experiencing explosive growth and is in immediate need for a Senior Fund Accountant with strong technical accounting skills. Responsibilities of Senior Accountant include:
- Enter monthly closing journal entries, including the investigation, verification of support and reconciliation of accounts.
- Prepare and analyze financial statements according to management agreement, leases, and lease amendments for investor and shareholders.
- Review general ledger for unusual variances, prepare reclassifications and make necessary journal entries to ensure financial statements are fairly stated prior to publication.
Qualifications of Senior Fund Accountant include:
- 3+ years experience in public accounting and/or a combination of 4 years experience in public accounting and private industry.
- Must have Bachelor's in Accounting and a CPA or CPA in progress is highly preferred
- Excellent communication skills
