Allied Oil & Supply, Inc. is a family owned business head-quartered in Omaha, NE. Allied Oil is a lubricant distribution business which sells to the passenger car, truck, and manufacturing segments. The company’s six branches sell and distribute premium branded product such as: Shell, Petro-Canada, Chevron, Valvoline, Premium Blue, CAT, Bio Blend, & Allied private label. The company has locations in Omaha, NE, Sioux Falls, SD, Hugo, MN ,Des Moines, IA, Kansas City, MO, Joplin, MO, and Wichita, KS.
JOB SUMMARY:
Responsible for troubleshooting, diagnosing, repairing and installing components on lubricating equipment. This includes, but is not limited to fluid handling (oil, antifreeze, DEF, etc.).
RESPONSIBILITIES:
Equipment ranges from air operated or piston operated equipment,(oil, antifreeze, DEF, etc.).
Diagnose and troubleshoot problems, give recommendations for repairs.
Remove and install parts, disassemble and assemble components, and test and adjust assemblies with minimal supervision.
Test and verify correct operation of all repairs and adjustments.
Communicate effectively and professionally with customers on their repairs.
Complete all necessary documentation and follow up as required in a timely, orderly manner.
Maintain work area, tools, and equipment to promote a clean and safe environment.
Create a work environment that is considerate of the customer’s needs.
Answer customer questions thoroughly and completely and conduct performance and repairs in a professional manner.
Maintain assigned service truck to include scheduled servicing, cleanliness, organization, and overall appearance and road worthiness.
REQUIREMENTS:
Must have sound general knowledge of safely operating hand tools, air tools, precision measuring tools and instruments.
Must be dependable
Must have strong problem-solving skills
Must possess a High school diploma
Must contribute to a positive and cohesive work environment
Must be able to read and comprehend specifications, service and parts literature, technical bulletins and other related publications.
Must be able to effectively communicate thoughts and ideas in both verbal and written form.
Must have strong interpersonal skills and the ability to effectively communicate to customers in a positive and professional manner.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $18.00 - $21.00 per hour
