Mustang Cat, in partnership with Ditch Witch South Texas, the leader in underground construction equipment, has opportunities for qualified Service Technicians in the Harlingen area.The primary responsibility of a Ditch Witch Dealership Service Technician is to provide maintenance, necessary repairs, and machine setup to ensure the proper operation of equipment.
Service Technician Job Responsibilities:
- Complete equipment troubleshooting and repairs involving mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic systems
- Perform make-ready jobs
- Ensure shop cleanliness and organization
- Maintain a safe and productive work environment
- Record labor times
- Additional duties as assigned
Required Skills and Qualifications:
- High school graduate or equivalent
- Associates degree or certificate from a technical school preferred
- Understanding of electrical and hydraulic systems, with the ability to read schematics
- Understanding of diesel and gas engines
- Must own proper tools to perform necessary repairs
- Experience as a diesel technician, automotive technician, heavy equipment technician, or other mechanic-type role.
- Bilingual English/Spanish is required
- Safety focused
- Self-motivated and eager to learn
