Position Overview:
The Structural Construction Manager will assemble the metal framework of new buildings or structures. The Structural Construction Manager is a full-time position, requires travel with overtime through peak season, reports to the Territory Manager, and has supervisory responsibility.

Essential Duties and Functions:
- Compliance with all project safety and environmental requirements
- Conduct weekly safety meetings
- Assemble the metal framework of new buildings or structures by fitting together steel girders, pipework, and beams
- Execute proper safety using harnesses, lifts, scaffolding, safety nets, use of hand signals, etc.
- Interpret blueprints or plans to weld girders, columns, and beams
- Create project plans, order supplies, and establish relationships with vendors
- Experience with lasers, levelers, taglines, and plumb bobs
- May often be carried out at heights from elevated platforms
- Process required paperwork throughout the day and week
- Operate mobile and elevated work platforms and/or crane
- Assemble and install lifts and hoists
- Weld and use a cutting torch
- Electrical experience in facility wiring, circuit testing, and motor repair
- Effectively operate a variety of saws, air tools, and general repair tools
- Troubleshoot and resolve needed repairs (hydraulics, pumps, motors)
- Make general repairs to facilities
- Ensure all regulations, laws, and safety standards are strictly adhered to
- Responsible for pre-construction, construction, and close phase of construction projects
- Travel throughout states when needed
- Willingness to perform duties outside the normal scope of work (i.e. poor weather conditions or outside normal hours)
Position Requirements:
- Consent to authorization of a pre-employment work screen and drug test
- Strong time management and leadership skills
- Responsible for managing schedules, deadlines, and personnel
- Be adept with computers and Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, Outlook, etc.)
- Previous experience in Redi-Mix Plant setup
